The Welshman’s contract in Charlton is set to expire in the end of June and the Swans are contributing to a bunch of Championship clubs into his trademark it’s been reported.
QPR and Preston have been regarded as keen about the former Crystal Palace guy who signed up a whole lot deal with all The Addicks at January.
Williams, 26, won over fans in The Valley at a prosperous period with Lee Bowyer’s side since they won promotion from League One through a play-off closing triumph over Sunderland at Wembley.
The attacker received tremendous praise for his performance in the chair in the final which saw Patrick Bauer score a late winner to deliver Charlton to the next grade.
Williams was among six first team players which weren’t provided new provisions by Bowyer, even though the supervisor insisted it wasn’t down to quality or ability, but instead the financial constraints of the team.
“He’s going to have other clubs that are interested in him for sure,” Bowyer stated.
“When the cash is not what he is searching for, or when there’s a way we could get near it, then we’ll be talking to his agent, we’ll be keeping connected.
“It is not like we have closed the door , it’s half open, trusting that somebody else does not come and snap him up.”
