A car, which authorities was forced to quit pursuing later hit a guy in his 60s at Catford today.

An investigation was launched following the neighbor was severely hurt in a road traffic crash.


Officers in Lewisham tried to stop a vehicle at about 1pm today in Lewisham.

The automobile made off along with a pursuit has been authorised — but the car got away and the pursuit has been terminated, with attempts being made to attempt to discover the automobile in the neighborhood area.

Officers revealed that the car was in collision with a pedestrian at Sandhurst Road, Catford, only five minutes afterwards.

His next of kin are informed.


A man was detained near the scene on suspicion of driving.

He’s been taken into a South London police station.

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transportation Policing Command are in the scene.

The Independent Office of Police Conduct were informed and will establish an independent investigation
