TSSA Union suspend further actions during Tube talks

London Underground

There was fresh hope for commuters today in the row over ticket office closures as the TSSA Union suspended its strikes.

The move, is widely seen as a direct response to TFL recruiting another 325 members of staff. The original closure redundancy figures would have been closer to 800 layoffs.

The biggest Underground workers union, the RMT, is still planning two days of militant strikes next week
