Lego is due to double the floorspace at its London office, leading to more jobs being created in the capital.
The Danish toy make said it wanted to remain committed to the city, regardless of Brexit.
The current Lego setup
Lego currently have 275 employees in London, it’s hoped the expansion will boost those numbers.
The plans were announced after the first non Danish person came in to run the company, Bali Padda, who is British.
The company didn’t directly mention Brexit, yet its CFO John Goodwin said the city had a large “broad pool of talented employees”.
It’s not just Lego
Other companies are deciding to commit to the UK regardless of Brexit. Snapchat announced in January that it would have its International HQ in London whilst other technology giants have all committed to stay in London.
