The unlucky residents of a small Irish town have once again been bombarded by calls to chats lines on the Babestation channel.
The town of Westport, County Mayo were called almost 10,000 times by men trying to reach adult lines.
Why it’s happening
Irish callers to the channel who don’t enter the 0044 code to reach the UK instead call random numbers in the Westport area.
One resident said: “We’re are getting these calls in the middle of night.”
BAI chief executive Michael O’Keeffe said Babestation had been contacted over the problem, adding it was “unfortunate that this issue is still continuing”.
ComReg said it was trying to “identify a solution as soon as possible”.
